After my stay in San Francisco I met up with Mike and together we flew to Japan for a two week vacation. We had such an amazing experience.  People were so lovely to us.  There were countless occasions when individuals went out of their way to help us, even though there was often a major language barrier. 

There was so much to see and take in throughout the trip.  Above are some of the pictures from our first stint in Tokyo as well as from Kyoto.  While we were "temple hopping" in Kyoto, Mike was using my point-and-shoot camera and took some really lovely shots which I had to include in this post.
